Rob is currently employed as office manager of Spalding Law. In lieu of a significant other, Rob has three cats and loves cardio. He graduated with honors from Bloomington High School South and with a B.A. in economics and psychology from Wesleyan University. After graduating, he wrote for The Motley Fool, where his work was syndicated internationally via Yahoo Finance. After the sudden passing of his father, Rob enrolled in Ivy Tech-Bloomington in 2015 to pursue A.S. in biotechnology and legal studies. For three years, he served as an adjunct instructor of Student Success classes and inducted hundreds of his students as honorary Phi Theta Kappa members. In the next five years, Rob hopes to appear on the TV show American Ninja Warrior and complete law school.
Samantha has attended Ivy Tech Community College with her husband. She has obtained multiple certificates, a technical certificate, and an Associates degree in general studies. She is currently working on completing her last requirements for her second Associates as a Healthcare Specialist. She was also as a work study for Ivy Tech for almost three years. Samantha is very passionate about helping others. She enjoys meeting new people and is a part of multiple clubs on her campus and is an officer of two of them. Samantha was inducted into the Alpha Tau Sigma Chapter in 2017. She has been the Vice President of Service for her chapter for two years. Samantha has attended chapter events, regional conventions, and international conventions since she joined Phi Theta Kappa. Samantha has also helped with other positions in her chapter through transitioning of one officer to another. Samantha is exited about being able to help the region in this new role. She has plans to further her education by going for her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and then going for her Medical Doctorate specializing in Nutrition Science.
Jill Stewart lives in Elkhart, Indiana with her fiancé and three sons. She attends Ivy Tech Community College with her sons and will be graduating soon with an AAS in Accounting, and later this year, with another AAS in Business Administration. She is the current President of the Beta Beta Alpha chapter in Elkhart County and the Indiana Regional Secretary/Treasurer. Jill has a passion for helping other students, and this passion has led her to change her career path. She now plans to continue her education and eventually get a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. She currently works for Career Development at Ivy Tech South Bend/Elkhart and is looking forward to continuing to help students in that capacity after she graduates. In what little free time she has, Jill enjoys being a member of several campus clubs, reading almost all genres of books, singing karaoke, and collecting Wonder Woman memorabilia.
Elizabeth is originally from Alabama. She moved to Indiana in December 2014. Since living in Indiana, Elizabeth has attended Ivy Tech Community College. She has obtained two Associate Degrees (Associates in General Studies and Associates in Liberal Arts in 2017) and is currently in her last semester of her Associates Degree for Biology. Not only is Elizabeth a full-time student, she also works for Ivy Tech as a CAB Assistant to the Student Life Director, as well as working at Wal-Mart. Elizabeth says that Phi Theta Kappa has been a huge contributor to her experience and journey while attending Ivy Tech. Her contribution to Phi Theta Kappa consists of being inducted into the Beta Gamma Zeta chapter in 2015. Since being inducted, she has been very active in her chapter, region, and internationally by having a vital role in chapter programming, regional conference attendance, and all service projects at all three levels. She has held multiple chapter and regional officer position that she says has taught her so many things about herself. She is excited to have this opportunity to meet the newer members and to help the region rebuild itself. She wants to personally use her knowledge that she has gained over the past few years to help members and chapters within the Indiana Region be the best that they can be and reach all of their endeavors.
