Elizabeth is originally from Alabama. She moved to Indiana in December 2014. Since living in Indiana, Elizabeth has attended Ivy Tech Community College. She has obtained two Associate Degrees (Associates in General Studies and Associates in Liberal Arts in 2017) and is currently in her last semester of her Associates Degree for Biology. Not only is Elizabeth a full-time student, she also works for Ivy Tech as a CAB Assistant to the Student Life Director, as well as working at Wal-Mart. Elizabeth says that Phi Theta Kappa has been a huge contributor to her experience and journey while attending Ivy Tech. Her contribution to Phi Theta Kappa consists of being inducted into the Beta Gamma Zeta chapter in 2015. Since being inducted, she has been very active in her chapter, region, and internationally by having a vital role in chapter programming, regional conference attendance, and all service projects at all three levels. She has held multiple chapter and regional officer position that she says has taught her so many things about herself. She is excited to have this opportunity to meet the newer members and to help the region rebuild itself. She wants to personally use her knowledge that she has gained over the past few years to help members and chapters within the Indiana Region be the best that they can be and reach all of their endeavors.
